While retaining support for Arduino, MicroPython, CircuitPython, and PIO state machines, the Plus variant adds 15 GPIOs through redesigned SMD castellations, integrated Li-ion battery management, and software-controlled battery voltage monitoring via GPIO24 and GPIO29. It is ideal for advanced embedded projects, battery-powered devices, and production-ready SoM designs.
