CD4532B - CMOS 8-BIT Priority Encoder, 16-PDIP, Texas Instruments
CD4532B consists of combinational logic that encodes the highest priority input (D0-D7) into a 3-Bit Binary Code. The 8 Inputs D0 to D7, each have an assigned priority. D7 is the highest priority and D0 is the lowest. When ENABLE input E1 is high, the binary representation of highest priority input appears on output lines (Q0-Q2), and the group select line GS is high to indicate that Priority inputs are present.
