The 7Semi Ambient Light Sensor I2C Breakout, based on the VEML7700, is a high-precision digital light sensing module designed for accurate ambient light measurement in embedded and automation applications. Featuring a 16-bit dynamic range sensor with integrated photodiode, low-noise amplifier, and advanced ADC architecture, the module delivers highly stable and reliable lux readings across a wide illumination range from near darkness to bright outdoor environments.
Engineered for seamless integration, the breakout includes a horizontal 4-pin 2mm pitch JST connector and standard I2C communication interface, enabling fast connectivity with Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller platforms. The VEML7700 sensor also incorporates flicker noise rejection for 100Hz and 120Hz lighting environments, ensuring accurate measurements under LED and fluorescent lighting conditions.
