The Adafruit STCC4 and SHT41 Sensor Breakout combines the Sensirion STCC4 CO₂ sensor with the SHT41 temperature and humidity sensor to provide reliable environmental monitoring in a compact, easy-to-use module. It measures carbon dioxide (CO₂) concentration, temperature, and relative humidity, making it suitable for indoor air-quality monitoring and climate-control applications.
The STCC4 uses a photoacoustic sensing principle for CO₂ measurement, while the SHT41 provides high-accuracy temperature and humidity measurements. Communication is handled through the I²C interface, with convenient STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors for quick, solder-free connection to compatible microcontrollers and development boards.
This breakout is well suited for indoor air-quality monitors, smart home systems, HVAC monitoring, environmental data logging, IoT projects, and embedded sensing applications. Its compact design and straightforward I²C interface make it easy to integrate into both prototype and finished projects.
