Adafruit TLV320DAC3100 I2S Audio DAC Board with Headphone and Speaker Out

The Adafruit TLV320DAC3100 I2S DAC with Headphone and Speaker Out is a compact, high-performance digital audio breakout designed for makers and embedded audio projects. Built around the Texas Instruments TLV320DAC3100 codec, this board converts digital I2S audio into crystal-clear analog sound with support for both stereo headphone output and mono speaker output. It is ideal for Raspberry Pi, ESP32, RP2040, Arduino, and other microcontroller-based audio applications.

Unlike basic I2S DAC modules, this board includes an integrated stereo headphone amplifier and a mono Class-D speaker amplifier, allowing direct connection to 16Ω headphones or 4Ω–8Ω speakers without requiring an additional amplifier circuit. The onboard PLL eliminates the need for an external master clock (MCLK), simplifying integration with many I2S-capable development boards.

The DAC supports multiple digital audio formats including I2S, Left-Justified, Right-Justified, DSP, and TDM interfaces, with sampling rates ranging from 8kHz to 192kHz. Advanced DSP features such as digital filters, mixing, volume control, and programmable audio processing blocks make it suitable for portable audio devices, smart speakers, voice interfaces, and multimedia systems.

What to take care of ?

Most of our products are technical in nature and require trained personnel to handle them. Any kind of mishandling can result in damage or malfunctioning of the product, it is not possible for us to provide a replacement or refund if the product is damaged due to technical or physical mishandling.


Who pays the return shipping cost?

Free of cost return pickup from delivery address is eligible for products categorized as manufacturing defect/ Damage in transit/ Wrong items delivered. We do not support return pickup for any B2B order or offline orders not placed on website. Buyer need to arrange return shipping for B2B orders.


What voids warranty? 

Please note that replacement/ return or refund is not possible if the product is not compatible with your system/application. Please check all the technical details/ dimensions etc. before ordering and contact us for any kind of clarifications.

If product is soldered/ programmed at any point or physically altered in any way, it is not eligible for return/ replacement. If the item requires soldering for testing, please ensure that you use suitable clips or jig to test it without soldering. Any kind of soldering job makes the product ineligible for return or replacement.

  • Soldering Consumables (Wire, Flux etc)
