E18 series is a 2.4GHz frequency band ZigBee communication protocol-to-serial wireless module designedand produced by Ebyte. The factory comes with self-organizing network firmware, ready to use, suitable for a variety of application scenarios (especially smart home).
The E18 series module adopts CC2530 RF chip imported from Texas Instruments. The chip integrates 8051single-chip microcomputer and wireless transceiver. Some module models have built-in PA power amplifier toincrease the communication distance. The factory-built firmware implements serial data transparent transmissionbased on the ZigBee3.0 protocol, and supports various commands under the ZigBee3.0 protocol. After actual measurement, it has very good compatibility with most ZigBee3.0 products on the market.

- Role switching: The user can switch the device among the three types of coordinator, router and terminal throughserial commands.
- Automatic networking: The coordinator automatically forms a network when it is powered on, and terminals androuters automatically search for and join the network.
- Network self-healing: if the intermediate node of the network islost, other networks automatically join or maintaintheoriginal network (the isolated node automatically joinsthe original network, and the non-isolated node maintainsthe originalnetwork) if the coordinatorislost, there are non-isolated nodesin the original network, and the coordinator can restoretheoriginal network. The coordinator that joinsthe network or the original network PAN_ID set by the same user joinstheoriginal network.
- Ultra-low power consumption: When the device is in the terminal state, it can be set to a low-power mode, andthesleep time of the device can be changed according to the user's usage time. In the low-power mode, the standbypower consumption is less than 2.5uA; You can receive the messages you should receive within the time set bytheuser.
- Data retention time setting: When the device is in the coordinator and router state, the user can set the data retentiontime by himself, and cooperate with the terminal in sleep mode to save the data of the terminal device, andsendthedata to the terminal after the terminal wakes up from sleep. Terminal; save up to 4 pieces of data, if it exceeds, thefirst data will be automatically cleared; after the data saving time has passed, the data heap will be automaticallycleared.
- Automatic routing: The module supports network routing function; routers and coordinators carry networkdatarouting functions, and users can perform multi-hop networking.
- Encryption protocol: The module adopts AES 128-bit encryption function, which can change the network encryption and anti-monitoring; users can change the network key by themselves, and devices with the same network key can communicate normally in the network.
- Serial port configuration: The module has built-in serial port commands. Users can configure (view) the parametersand functions of the module through the serial port commands.

Branded products (Waveshare/ Raspberry Pi/ Radxa/ DWIN etc) are as per brand warranty terms. Generic products are eligible for replacement within 7 days of delivery based on following conditions.
Products are eligible for a replacement if there is physical damage during transit or a clear manufacturing defect. Any claim for damage/ wrong items/ replacement must be made within 48 hours of successful delivery of the product. Requests for refund of amount or exchange of product(s) will be reviewed on a case by case basis and HUBTRONICS carries final rights to take a final decision on refund, store credit or exchange.
What to take care of ?
Most of our products are technical in nature and require trained personnel to handle them. Any kind of mishandling can result in damage or malfunctioning of the product, it is not possible for us to provide a replacement or refund if the product is damaged due to technical or physical mishandling.
Who pays the return shipping cost?
Free of cost return pickup from delivery address is eligible for products categorized as manufacturing defect/ Damage in transit/ Wrong items delivered. We do not support return pickup for any B2B order or offline orders not placed on website. Buyer need to arrange return shipping for B2B orders.
What voids warranty?
Please note that replacement/ return or refund is not possible if the product is not compatible with your system/application. Please check all the technical details/ dimensions etc. before ordering and contact us for any kind of clarifications.
If product is soldered/ programmed at any point or physically altered in any way, it is not eligible for return/ replacement. If the item requires soldering for testing, please ensure that you use suitable clips or jig to test it without soldering. Any kind of soldering job makes the product ineligible for return or replacement.
