MCP73871 USB 5V DC Power Boost Solar Lipoly Lithium Li-ion Polymer Charger Board. The MCP73871 device is a fully integrated linear solution for system load sharing and Li-Ion/Li-Polymer battery charge management with AC-DC wall adapter and USB port power sources selection. It is also capable of autonomous power source selection between input and battery. Along with its small physical size, the low number of required external components makes the device ideally suited for portable applications.
Make your green projects this summer with our specialized USB / Solar lithium-ion polymer battery charger. This charger is a unique design, perfect for DIY outdoor projects or iPod chargers. We have spent more than a year testing it and playing with this charger to find a plug and play solution to charge batteries with the sun and we are really satisfied with what we finished.
Easy to use. Pick up any of our many 3.7V / 4.2V LiIon batteries and a 6V solar panel. Plug the battery into the BATT port using a 2-pin JST cable and the solar panel on the DC connector using a 2.1mm adapter cable put the solar panel outside (and keep the battery out of the Sun. It needs to stay cool!) To start charging! You can feed another project as a Mintyboost at the same time by connecting to the load output port
Our carefully designed charger is designed specifically for solar charging, and will automatically attract the largest possible current from the panel in any light condition. Even thinking that it is not a “true” MPPT (Maximum Feed Point Tracker), it has almost identical performance without the additional cost of a buck converter. Other batteries may have different voltage, chemistry, polarity or pinout.

Warranty Terms :
Branded products (Waveshare/ Raspberry Pi/ Radxa/ DWIN etc) are as per brand warranty terms. Generic products are eligible for replacement within 7 days of delivery based on following conditions.
Products are eligible for a replacement if there is physical damage during transit or a clear manufacturing defect. Any claim for damage/ wrong items/ replacement must be made within 48 hours of successful delivery of the product. Requests for refund of amount or exchange of product(s) will be reviewed on a case by case basis and HUBTRONICS carries final rights to take a final decision on refund, store credit or exchange.
What to take care of ?
Most of our products are technical in nature and require trained personnel to handle them. Any kind of mishandling can result in damage or malfunctioning of the product, it is not possible for us to provide a replacement or refund if the product is damaged due to technical or physical mishandling.
Who pays the return shipping cost?
Free of cost return pickup from delivery address is eligible for products categorized as manufacturing defect/ Damage in transit/ Wrong items delivered. We do not support return pickup for any B2B order or offline orders not placed on website. Buyer need to arrange return shipping for B2B orders.
What voids warranty?
Please note that replacement/ return or refund is not possible if the product is not compatible with your system/application. Please check all the technical details/ dimensions etc. before ordering and contact us for any kind of clarifications.
If product is soldered/ programmed at any point or physically altered in any way, it is not eligible for return/ replacement. If the item requires soldering for testing, please ensure that you use suitable clips or jig to test it without soldering. Any kind of soldering job makes the product ineligible for return or replacement.
