The ZLAN5812LD is a 4-port isolated RS485 to Ethernet serial server designed for industrial communication, automation, and IoT applications. It enables multiple RS485 devices to communicate with Ethernet-based systems over a TCP/IP network, providing a reliable bridge between serial equipment and network applications.
With four independent RS485 serial ports and electrical isolation, the ZLAN5812LD helps reduce interference and improves communication stability in demanding industrial environments. It supports common serial networking modes and protocols, making it suitable for connecting PLCs, meters, sensors, controllers, inverters, and other RS485 devices to industrial Ethernet networks.
The gateway supports Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP communication, allowing existing Modbus RTU equipment to integrate with Ethernet-based SCADA, PLC, HMI, and monitoring systems. Its MQTT support also enables serial data to be transferred to IoT platforms and cloud-based applications for remote monitoring and data acquisition.
